LCR Connect and Adaptive Comms embarked on a progressive project for the 100th anniversary of the Southport Flower Show – introducing 5G connectivity to deliver an ultrafast guest experience. Stemming from a joint mission to improve the efficiency of electronic point-of-sale systems (EPOS), both Adaptive Comms and LCR Connect used a consultative approach to understand the guest and vendor experience at outdoor events. Through this, they found a solution that not only provided immediate public WiFi, but a long-term fixed backhaul network for future events at Victoria Park.
The Southport Flower Show, one of the North West’s most popular outdoor events, faced connectivity challenges that had a significant impact on its operations and guest experience.
